Author Guidelines

At CSIT Books Publishing House, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards in publishing and providing authors with clear guidance to ensure a smooth and successful publication process. Whether you are an experienced author or publishing for the first time, these guidelines will help you prepare your manuscript for submission.


1. Manuscript Requirements

  • Originality:
    All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Proper credit must be given for any content or data borrowed from external sources.

  • Content Scope:
    Your manuscript should align with topics in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Examples include programming, AI, IoT, healthcare IT, CRM, machine learning, cryptography, and more.

  • Language:
    Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

  • Length:
    While there is no strict length requirement, ensure the manuscript comprehensively covers the topic while maintaining clarity and relevance.


2. Manuscript Structure

Your manuscript should be well-organized and follow this structure:

  • Title Page:
    Include the book’s title, subtitle (if applicable), author(s) name(s), affiliations, and contact information.

  • Table of Contents:
    Provide a detailed table of contents listing all chapters and subheadings.

  • Preface or Introduction:
    Outline the book’s purpose, scope, and intended audience.

  • Chapters:

    • Begin each chapter on a new page with a numbered title.
    • Use numbered subheadings for better organization.
    • Include practical examples, illustrations, and case studies where relevant.
  • Figures and Tables:

    • Submit high-resolution images, graphs, and tables.
    • Provide descriptive captions for each figure or table.
  • References:
    All citations must follow APA (7th edition) guidelines. A reference list must be included at the end of the manuscript.


3. Formatting Guidelines

  • Font and Spacing:
    Use Times New Roman, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.

  • Margins:
    Set 1-inch margins on all sides.

  • File Format:
    Submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

  • Numbering:
    Number all pages consecutively.


4. References and Citations (APA Style)

Authors must use the APA (7th edition) referencing style. Below are examples:

  • Book:
    Author, A. A. (Year). Title of the book. Publisher.
    Example:
    Smith, J. (2020). Programming Essentials. TechBooks Publishing.

  • Journal Article:
    Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Year). Title of the article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), page range. https://doi.org/xx.xxxx
    Example:

  • Website:

    Example:

5. Ethics and Plagiarism Policy

  • Plagiarism:
    Submissions will be checked for plagiarism using detection tools. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 10% (excluding citations) may be rejected or require revisions.

  • Ethical Standards:
    Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and obtain permissions for third-party content (e.g., images, datasets).

  • Fabrication or Falsification:
    Any fabricated or falsified data will result in immediate rejection.


6. Submission Process

  • Proposal Submission:
    Send a detailed book proposal, including the title, synopsis, target audience, and a sample chapter, to editor.csitbooks@gmail.com.

  • Manuscript Submission:
    After approval of the proposal, submit the complete manuscript as per the formatting guidelines.

  • Communication:
    Authors will be kept informed throughout the review and publication process.


7. Post-Publication Support

  • Authors receive promotional support for their books.
  • Complimentary author copies are provided.
  • Authors are encouraged to participate in marketing activities, such as book launches and webinars.
